I think that it was definately worth the risk traveling home. Molly and Daisy would have been maids and seamstresses if they would have stayed. At the end of the movie it says that Molly has two children and if she hadn't made the journey, she probably wouldn't have had her children.
I think that it was worth the risk because if they didn't run away things wouldn't have changed. they still would have been in the camp and they probably wouldn't have had families if the hadn't run away.
I think it was worth the risk to go home. If one of them had died during the journey the ending would have been very different but they could still get home. I think they would have keep going home if it was only two of them, like they did when the girl didn't want to come with. If they would have stayed life probably wouldn't have been much better.
The risk was worth it in the manner that it told a story of their determination, rather than just suffering through it they tried to do something about it, which is admirable.
I think that it was most definitely worth the risk. They had to go through tough times to find there way back home, and they lost their cousin, but Molly and Daisy were reunited with their family in the end.
think that it was definetly worth the risk. The girls went home, and didn't turn back, even when they faced adversity. That showed true persistence. They knew it was worth it to be able to go home. I would have done the same thing. Even if they hadn't made it home, it was best to try.
I think it was for sure worth the risk. Because they risked seeing their family and their family is very important to them. I also think it would have been worth the risk if one or all of them had died on the journey because again they wanted to see their family and their family was very important to them.
I think that it was worth the risk for them to try to make it home. Even if one or all of them had died on the journey, they were standing up for themselves and what was right.
I think it was worth the risk because they knew what was happening to them wasn't right and they were standing up for themselves. I think it still would have been worth it if all or one of them had died because if they went back then it would have been like giving up
I think that it was worth the risk because if they hadn't there wouldn't even be a movie about it, but I think they did it to benifit themselves and their family.
I strongly believe that is was worth the risk. You have to believe that you will make it to happiness, but you have to want it too. Even if you lose your life you know that you lost it working for freedom!
I think it was worth the risk, because they didn't want to be away from their family, and their culture. They didn't want to be put into a white society. They knew the risks, and they decided to take them, and go back to where they wanted to be.
Yes it was worth it. I think of the quote "don't let the fear of striking out stop you from playing the game". Meaning if you don't try you'll never know.
I think the risk was worth it. I know that if I was taken away from my family and friends, I would do anything to get back to them. Also if one of them died, I think it would still be worth it because they made it all that way and they shouldn't waste it and just give up.
I think the risk was worth it because i would rather die anyday fighting for my freedom. I know that if i was taken away from my life I would fight to get it back in a heart beat.
I think it was worth the risk. I would have done it. If they would have stayed, then the best work they would get to do it to wash dishes and clothes. They wouldnt get any schooling time.
I think it was worth the risk for the girls to travel home because they wouldn't have been able to have children and to see their family. The girls might have gotten split up if they didn't decide to travel home. It would have still been worth it if one of them had died because she would have been fighting for her freedom.
I think it was worth the risk because she did eventually make it home and even though she had to go back later in her life, she got to be at home for many years before she had to go back. Instead of being there for many years, she got to be at home with family, friends, and happiness before she had to go back. She also had two kids and she probably wouldn't have if she stayed at the center.
I definitely think it was worth the risk to get home to see their mother. I think it would have still been worth the risk because if they wouldn't of left I think they probably would have been split up and never would get to see eachother again.
I think that it was worth the risk even if they died it would still be worth the risk that way they wouldn't have to live there anymore with the white people.
I think it was worth the risk. I would take the risk to get back to my family. If I was taken away from my family I would do the same thing to try to get back.
I think It was worth the risk even if one of them died. The other girls that were runaways that got caught were beaten and their hair was cut off. So if they got away that wouldn't happen to them, and in the end they never saw their cousin becaise hshe went her own way and they got home.
I think it was worth the risk. They weren't going to become what people wanted them to be. They were going to stay true to who they were which is worth anything.
It was not worth the risk. The girls were given a pretty good life at the orphanage, and lost their cousin trying to escape. At least at the orphanage they were given food and a place to sleep. AFter escaping, the girls had no plan of where to go, or even in what direction they were headed. They collapsed in the middle of the Australian desert after running away, and were on the verge of death. So of course it was not worth it. In imaginary land, you know that they will make it home safely at the end, but in the real world this is a terrible decision.
No it was not worth it. The girls could have been killed and the mothers were sad when they left, they would want to kill themselves if they died. Plus the white folk were being racist. And thats wrong.
I think it was worth it. They were being treated very poorly and I think they should do almost anything if it means maybe getting to be with there family, again.
I think that it was definately worth the risk traveling home. Molly and Daisy would have been maids and seamstresses if they would have stayed. At the end of the movie it says that Molly has two children and if she hadn't made the journey, she probably wouldn't have had her children.

ReplyDeleteI think the risk was worth it. It's not right to change a person from what they really are. I would have done the same thing as the girls.
ReplyDeleteI think that it was most definitely worth the risk. They had to go through tough times to find there way back home, and they lost their cousin, but Molly and Daisy were reunited with their family in the end.
ReplyDeleteI think it was worth the risk because they wanted to see their family and they would rather die than be a slave.

ReplyDeleteI think for them the risk was worth it if it were me i don't think i would have the guts.to do it i think the little girl that was taken was a loss.
ReplyDeleteI think that the risk was needed, and if one of them died or was captured again, then the others would still get to go home.
ReplyDeleteI think the risk was worth it. I know that if I was taken away from my family and friends, I would do anything to get back to them. Also if one of them died, I think it would still be worth it because they made it all that way and they shouldn't waste it and just give up.
ReplyDeleteI think that the risk was worth it because if they didn't run away they would have had to have been maids for the rest of there lives.
ReplyDeleteI think it was worth the risk to take the chance but if someone died I would decide that it would not be worth it and choose to return.
ReplyDeleteI think the risk was worth it because I would rather die on my way to freedom than dying somewhere that you aren't happy.
