I would think that they put tracker in so the veiwers would know that men were also treated bad but women were treaded way worse.
I agree with Tim but I also think that they wanted to show how aboriginal people turned against eatchother for money. They chose a aborigines man because he knows how his people think and any other person woudn't know what clues to look for.
To show that women were way more often treated badly, because the less aboriginee women there were, the less aborigionee children there would be.
