I think that Jimmy is greedy, because he would do anything to have more money. He misused kente, and took advantage of Vanessa. He also had the rest of the village make kente so her could cut it up and make place mats.
Jimmy is ignorant because he knew how much the kente cloth meant to his father and yet he still disobeyed the rules and gave the cloth away to Vanessa and didn't think about how much his father would care.
Jimmy is disobedient because he does not listen to his father and sells the kente cloth's to people who use them for the wrong reasons. Even though the kente means a lot to his father.
I would describe Jimmy as unassertive. He didn't tell Vanessa that it bothered him that she wore the kente cloth disrespectfully. Jimmy didn't speak up for his village and what the kente cloth meant to them. Vanessa just thought of it as a regular cloth, but Jimmy knew that it was very sacred, and he should've told her that.
Jimmy is very dishonest. It shows in the story when he lies to his father about the way the kente cloth is being used. The king is using the cloth as rug and Vannessa was using it as clothing.
Jimmy is talented. In the story Jimmy has a talent in making Kente cloth. When Jimmy is making Kente cloth,his hands just flow and he makes it look so easy. Plus,his ending creations are so beautiful, so many people bought them right away. That is why I think that Jimmy is talented.
I think Jimmy was love sick. I think that because in the text, he said that he dated many women, and loved many of them but he always missed Vanessa. He was love sick because he missed Vanessa.
I think Jimmy is caring. In the story he started selling the Kente cloth so he could give money to his father and he cared about Vanessa because he didn't want to make her upset.
